Field Marshal Asim Munir spends Eid with Troops at the LoC.

Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, visited forward posts along the Line of Control to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with frontline troops.

The visit began with Eid prayers, during which special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s lasting peace, stability, and prosperity, as well as for the Shuhada who laid down their lives in defense of the nation.

Field Marshal Munir extended heartfelt Eid greetings to the officers and soldiers, praising their unwavering dedication, professional excellence, and resilience in the face of ongoing challenges.

He noted that spending Eid on the frontlines, away from their families, reflects their noble commitment to safeguarding the homeland at all times.

The Army Chief also commended the formation’s outstanding performance during Marka-e-Haq, “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos,” and paid tribute to the martyrs and Ghazis whose sacrifices continue to strengthen the nation’s security and resolve.

During his interaction with the troops, Field Marshal Asim Munir praised their high spirits, exceptional combat readiness, and unwavering vigilance in effectively countering Indian ceasefire violations.

He reaffirmed his full confidence in the Armed Forces’ capability to decisively deter and respond to any aggression.

Highlighting Pakistan’s firm position, the Field Marshal stated that the courageous and rightful struggle of the Kashmiri people against Indian occupation will always be remembered.

He stressed the urgent need for resolving the Jammu and Kashmir issue in accordance with the wishes of its people and the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.

Earlier, upon his arrival at the Line of Control, the Chief of Army Staff was welcomed by the Commander of Rawalpindi Corps.
